Theresa has over 18 years of experience handling workers’ compensation claims on behalf of clients in both New Jersey and Pennsylvania. Her litigation experience dates back to 2000 as a member of the Philadelphia District Attorney’s Office.
Theresa graduated from LaSalle University in 1997. She earned her law degree from Capital University School of Law in Columbus, Ohio in 2000 where she served as a member of the Moot Court Board, President of the Women’s Law Association, and Courtroom Facilitator for the Ohio Mock Trial Competition. She was the recipient of the Women Lawyers of Franklin County Scholarship, and the Capital University Women’s Club Scholarship.
Theresa has handled thousands of workers’ compensation claims in both New Jersey and Pennsylvania. Prior to joining Pietras Saracino Smith & Meeks in 2007, she was responsible for the management of all workers’ compensation cases for a large regional law firm in the eastern part of Pennsylvania from 2005 to 2007. She has extensive experience in claims for total and permanent disability involving the New Jersey Second Injury Fund, and has litigated claims in every District Office in New Jersey.
Outside of work, Theresa volunteers her time to the PTO at Our Lady of Mercy Academy in Newfield, New Jersey. She is an avid Philadelphia sports fan, and enjoys attending Eagles games. During the summer, you can be sure to find her enjoying her spare time in Wildwood, New Jersey.
She resides with her husband and four children in Washington Township, NJ.
