Benjamin F. Smith, ESQ
Mr. Smith is admitted in the State of New Jersey, United States District Court for the District of New Jersey and the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Mr. Smith is a graduate of the University of New Orleans (B.A. 1993) and the University of Akron School of Law (J.D. 1996). Prior to joining Pietras Saracino, LLP, Mr. Smith was associated with the law firms of Capehart Scatchard, P.A. and Michals Wahl, LLP, where he focused his practice in the area of workers’ compensation defense and litigation. Mr. Smith also served as house counsel to Selective Insurance Company. Mr. Smith is a member of the New Jersey State Bar Association and the American Bar Association. He is also a lecturer for the National Association of Insurance Women (Reducing Workers’ Compensation Costs). Mr. Smith continues to represent insurance carriers, third-party administrators and self-insured’s in the defense of workers’ compensation claims throughout the State of New Jersey. Mr. Smith is a Veteran of the U.S. Army and served with the 4th Infantry from 1985 -to- 1988 and then with the Louisiana National Guard.
